Oh Mike, this is good news! You keep practising as much as you can, yes? You will master this tricky skill called driving, of that I have no doubt. I am back from my holiday - my poor little car is utterly filthy, covered in dust, bird excrement, sticky stuff from the trees and leaves. I took her out for a spin tho - it was lovely to be back behind the wheel! Mr DD did all the driving whilst we were away. I shall get her washed tomorrow, all being well. She looks all wrong. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

Hi Mike good news!,my advice for parking and slow manouvring is/are datum points used them a lot when doing my fork lift licence over many years, you'll learn to get fixed set points to aim for and turn at so you'll always "have a plan " on how to go about it, just turning and hoping isn't going to cut it although some seem to use this approach, well the dents and dings on my Rav 4 seem to point to this way of doing things that said if you love it you've got it cracked so I'm just waffling on!, how unusual is that!?...
Oh just don't do what the woman I followed today kept on trying to do and that was to drive over the white line forcing the oncopming trafic out of the way and also overtake on bends put the fear of Christ up me, she had no idea of where in the bloody road she was, she was so dangerous I was going to log her number and report her but couldn't find a pen, she was a accident waiting to happen the worst I think I have ever seen.
