Aren't Dads great sometimes? My Dad has done things around my apartment today - is doing so on a regular basis as I'm not well enough to do them. He also got my supermarket shopping for me.

That's why us Dads have daughters :P

Sadly though mine is discarding me for she's found a new, younger ( and arthritis free ) man in her life and getting married in September ! Dad's taxi will be no more and Dad won't be there anymore to put his arm around her when she's had one of those awful days

Untold happiness with a tinge of sadness if you know what I mean

My lovely Dad died in 1983.
I still remember him coming to stay with us once and he opened his car boot up and it was full of daffodils.
He's been round his garden and picked every single bloom for me.
    It was magical.

John Im 39 and still need my DAD I wish he was as thoughtful as you are dont ever stop.

My DAD deserted me when he had finished scrounging off me to pay off his debts, Im the soft touch of the family my sis gives nothing and my brother is, well, like my dad, My dad remarried down south and occasionally visits (his favourite saying a flying visit) As hes getting older he seems to want to see us a bit more although he couldnt see us any less unless he didnt bother at all.

Thank you Claire, Toni & Theresa.

Yep, she'll always be my baby ( being the youngest ) and with her 2 brothers are my cherished children for which I must thank my wife.

Though my Dad has been gone some 28 years I can still feel his presence, Mum also. Bless them.

A huge hug to all you lovely daughters.........and sons for through you us parents live our lives.
