I think I need admitting to hospital - my feet are so painful and got lots of my symptoms of my other serious illnesses.

I'm afraid pain happens to be one of Arthur's signatures.. It's just one of those things, horrid but true..

It will ease at some point.. I don't think they'll do much at the hospital for you, unless they can get rid of the cause.. If only..

    Be well.

There are plenty of us on here in a lot of pain too, so know what you are going through in that sense.

    Hello Kneegirl

I am sorry you are struggling so much at the moment and I really hope things improve for you soon.

That said, I hope I’m not speaking out of turn but I feel I have to say that I wonder if you are in danger of putting people’s backs up by suggesting that your pain and illnesses are more serious than everyone else’s and by responding to people’s kind comments with snippy replies. We are all here to support each other as best we can and many people on here have more than one illness to contend with.

Please don’t be offended by this post Kneegirl. It’s just that people might find it easier to support you if you moderate your responses a little.

    Thinking of you.

    Kneegirl,

I think people assumed you were talking about arthritis pain as this is the LWA board. I know I certainly did. But to be honest, pain is pain and we all understand that.

Take care and hope you are feeling a bit better.

I am really sorry if I had upset anyone. It certainly wasn't my intention.

I guess what we are saying doesn't always come across clearly on the internet.

    Sorry again.

Thanks Kneegirl. I am sure you didn't mean to upset anyone - and I think you are so right that it is not always easy to be clear when communicating on the internet. It's hard isn't it, when you can't actually see people or hear their tone of voice?

Hope things are better for you this morning and that hospital admission is looking less likely.

    Thinking of you.

    Love Tilly xxx

    Hi kneegirl

I understand that it may be upsetting/difficult for you to talk about yourself, but if you could open up a little, I would be able to sympathise. When you start threads like this one, but give nothing away, I feel sorry and would like to help you,but I do not know how to reply. Perhaps you may find it easier to talk to the helplines which is confidential rather than on the LWA zone.

I hope today is a better day for you.
