Ron's got a new ankle !

Hi everyone
My name is Annette, I'm Ron's OH....... just thought you might like to know that he had his operation this afternoon at 2.30, I rang the hospital at 6.30 and he had just arrived on the ward from recovery and was told that he was comfortable ( they always tell you that ) . I was happy to hear that after a very stressful day worrying about him and the operation.

Since then he has rung me himself (twice) sounding very drunk :lol: to say that he's ok and that his leg felt heavy and numb from a pain block he had been given. Hopefully he will get some sleep tonite and feel a lot better tomorrow.

Thanks for all your support you have given him, Its very comforting to read the messages you have posted.

Well thats all from me for now, Ron will be back on here as soon as he gets home in a day or two to let you know all about his experience in hospital, I'm sure he will have lots to tell you.

    I am glad you read the messages for Ron....they are lovely aren't they? this is a lovely place to be and glad it helped a bit.

    How kind of you for updating on your OH's behalf. I'm glad Ron is ok. Hopefully he isn't feeling too hungover! ;) Seriously though, I wish him a speedy recovery.
