and wondered if there are any others here? I always have 2 books on the go at any one time and sometimes 3. My 2 at the moment are:
1) Dead Man's Grip by (the wonderful) Peter James.
2) The Long Song by Andrea Levy
My favourite author, who wrote my all time favourite book is R.J. Ellory. He's written about 9 books now but by far the best is called Candlemoth.
I love reading crime fiction.

Hi Cloud9,
I read a lot too but like books which are easy to read. My favourite author is Ben Elton, I have all his books. I also like Lesley Pearse, who writes good drama novels. At the moment, I'm reading "The Brightest Star in the Sky" by Marian Keyes. Other good books I'd recommend are:
A Tiny Bit Marvellous by Dawn French
Flowers in the Attic by Virginia Andrews (I love the whole of this series)
Dead Famous and Gridlock by Ben Elton
The Shopaholic books by Sophie Kinsella.
I don't really read crime fiction or mystery - I'm a chick lit girl at heart

Valval, I have some of the murder club series by james patterson in a pile to read, I will see if I have 2 or 9 and if I have will PM you.
I also enjoy Jodi Picoult books, Harlan Coben, Faye Kellerman, Georgette Heyer and many many others.0 -
I too love to read but use a reader as my hands are now elegant claws and no good for page turning ! I also enjoy the " Roy Grace " books , especially as they are written in and around our wonderful city of Brighton and Hove . Jillyb0
