A long day ahead

This probably sounds really bad, but I'm not really looking forward to today..
My youngest brother & his wife are renewing their vows (not my cup of tea in the first place, pointless exercise if you ask me, especially when they've only been wed seven years) their youngest son, our lovely Samuel christened (all for that part) & she is also being christened ay the same time... I think she just wants some of the attention to be honest... Lol
I know I'm being a miserable ****, but the actual thing will probably go on a long time & I'm not at my best at the minute, don't know how long I can sit down etc... Starts about ten this morning, going on till nine tonight  at the club afterwards.. Them back to theirs
Lol
I am really looking forward to seeing all the family for a nice occasion for a change though..
I guess what I'm doing is moaning like a big girls blouse about this damn arthur and how he's spoiling everything recently....
I'm probably not even making sense, I'm tired folks..
Oh, leave me alone, I don't moan very often, haha.....
In all honesty, it's probably gonna be a really good day, I just don't know how much of it I'll have to bloody miss.. I was hoping mi Dad could do the driving today as I'm already hurting, but apparently it's far more important that he has a skinful of drinky drinky lager. I think we might have to come home in the afternoon, have a sleep & see if we are up to going back... It will take it's toll on Janet too..
i
Sorry fellow arthurites... I'm not really ay mi best this morning, bit fed up.. Does this class as a rant or a bitch?
Bugger it, I'm not bothered which one it is.... I'm sure I must be due a turn, lol...
Right, I'd better get a shave etc..
(moans and mumbles like victor meldrew as he logs off)

I agree with you Delboy, both our girls were never christened. It is their choice.
Tony I'm sure that at the end of it all you may be in a lot of pain but glad that you did it. Good idea to come home and have a rest before the evening. Markyou it is long isn't it. Surely they don't expect you and Janet to be at all of it, they know your situations.

tony know where you are coming from an all day do not possible with arther as a guest. rest when you can and think your dad bit selfish could you not get taxi back to save you driving. oops bit late now u there alreadyval0

You do what you need to do for you and Janet and **** the rest of 'em. Your dad can spring for a taxi, you are not to take the role of his unpaid and unappreciated chauffeur. You have your own troubles - which unlike his are not self-inflicted. Put Janet's needs, and yours, first. Take care, I hope the day goes better than you anticipate but don't push yourself any harder than you need. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Tony
I hope today was not as bad as you thought it may be and that you were not suffering too much. We can all think of functons we have attended to keep the peace.
I hope you did return home when you felt enough was enough and that if your dad chose to stay until the bitter end that he was able to find another way to get home without you feeling that you should return to be his taxi driver.

Hi Tony
By now you are already there so I'm a bit late, but I hope that the occasion hasn't turned out to be quite as exhausting as you feared. I'm sure that your family will understand if you have to leave early, and I hope that you won't suffer too much afterwards. DD is right, you should put yours and Janet's needs first.

I understand how you feel Tony.It takes a lot of effort to sit down in one place, body seizes up and then it is another painful effort to move out of it, and then there is the questions and the glib comments.
I can see you will be exhausted by the end of it all.
You should be able to come on here and voice your feelings. We are all in the same boat.
Hope it all goes well.I'm aching just thinking about it.

Why is payback such a beehatch
I've had a horrible day today, I know, I did anticipate it but come on... It's not like I actually did anything..
I've even had to fall back on trusty old diazepam today as everything seized up..
I should be asleep by now, the patches have been great for that.. I'm just trying to get myself soooooo tired that I have to sleep, lol..
Right, enough moaning, goodnight all...
Sleep wellMe-Tony
