Now is it me or has Britain got very little talent?, OK so a couple of acts were good’ish but no where as near as brilliant as the little girl from the US, I was on the PC with one eye on the telly the wife and nipper had it on but I did stop and ask “who is that kid and is it lip synced” only to be told no, so I admit I stopped and watched the rest of her singing
Totally blown away is how I would describe it a far cry from the little lad who came second OK he's got a voice but not on her level, Sadly he will just end up another Simon Cowl clone I bet, there only to make Cowl even more money.
And as for the Scotish chap who won all I can think is the granny vote was out in force, he was OK a bit shouty for me to be honest, where as that little American girl she blew me socks off, I’m still totally surprised how bloody good she really was it was like an angle dancing in me ears, talent like that is born not manufactured you either have it or you don’t and that’s a rare thing so good luck to her.

I'm always uneasy about children performing on these talent shows. If they fail, it can have a very bad psychological effect on them, and if they succeed, there are so many adults only too ready to exploit them for money. Does anyone remember the child star, Lena Zavaroni, who was a huge success years ago? She eventually became ill and died of anorexia due to the pressures of fame at such an early age. It's a cautionary tale for any would-be child stars.

I think they have now exhausted all the talent in Britain. Was this series 3 or 4?
