Did you know that coffee, sex, and blowing your nose could increase the risk of having a type of stroke, according to researchers in the Netherlands?

Do you think it's safe to breathe :?:
I think we are all doomed; life is a 100% fatal condition.
Cappuccino, anyone :?:

It has been proven fact that having your patents from Skeggy over to stay with you for a few days while a family christening is going on can also raise your blood pressure, again... No coffee, noise blowing or........ Anything else needed to be involved  :shock:Me-Tony

Glad to be of assistance, Barbara0 -
Perhaps they would be better off if they just did one of those things at a time rather than combining all three. No wonder brains could melt if you are multi-tasking to that extent. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Are they saying that we should not have sex, drink tea and pick our noses instead? What about sneezing? You close your eyes and when driving you can have an accident. Just live, love and laugh everyone. That's life or as the french say, c'est la vie.0

Things like this make me laugh - doesn't exercise increase your heart rate - haven't people had heart attacks when out jogging??
We get phone calls at work, like this one today: "My neighbour has a shed full of logs for his open fire which he keeps full all year long - can't you do something? Isn't that a fire hazard?" To which I reply to him, "You'll have to contact environmental health if you really think it's a danger, we can't force anyone to do anything in their own private homes" - queue lots of shouting about how useless the council are and if their houses catch fire it'll be all my fault... YAWN.
What I really want to reply with is: if you think it through enough, everything is a fire hazard. If I smoked and stood next to the box in our kitchen in which we put recyclable paper, that's a fire hazard too! Standing too close to a match is a fire hazard! A match is a fire hazard!
Sorry to go on
