Woke up about 3am this morning to hear dog growling and husband coming in from outside was very confused :???: :???: :???: untill OH comes back to bed, when all was explained. He had got up to go to the bathoom as he comes out he comes face to face with an univited cat in the hall just comming out of our bedroom, so he had to put it back outside (how it got in we have no idea) good job our dog is in a cage overnight or the result may have been very different.
Stay positive always👍xx

Hmmm sounds to me like typicle tom tactics, just watch out if it is a Tom even if he has had the chop he could well have sprayed in one of your rooms you will know soon enough!, thing is how in hell did it get in if you have a dog around, did it have access to an upstairs window or do you have an old cat flap?.0

It is a little known fact that cats are actually expert lock-pickers, hence the term cat-burglar..
I imagine that the cat had picked the front door lock and was either looking behind your pictures for the safe or trying to steal the family silver  :shock:Me-Tony

I know how it got in....through the door...leave your door open for one sec and they are in .
We have 4 cats next door, one of them we have adopted, but we came home the other day to find one of the others curled up on our bed  very sneaky they are.Love

I won't leave my door open as we have a fox.He just sat on my path scratching away so I had to use my tumble dryer on a lovely sunny day as I was too scared to go outside.
As long as the cat hasn't left you a present you'll be fine!

Mellman I dont have any old cat flaps and live in a flat all on one level only window open was our bedroom. I think it only got i because the dog is locked in a cage overnight cos he used to mess on the hall floor and we were advised to put him in the cage overnight. Tony cat burglar that's a good one. that's poss Barbara maybe as OH took him out into garden just before we went to bed around 10.45 and as we don't have access to garden from flat he has to go out front and usually leaves door ajar. so it could have got in then and hidden  who know's :roll:Stay positive always👍xx0

I would do a stock check on your cd collection Carol, the cat probably went through that too. It's not widely known but all cats are avid Celine Dionne fans, apparently this is due to the subliminal messages hidden in get songs that us humans cannot hear. Word on the street is that she can actually control them and is planning on taking over the world at some point, hence the robberies, all proceeds go towards her evil plot.. Ever noticed a cat suddenly stop what it's doing and stare into space, they're actually receiving coordinates for the next heist...
Once a year she bands them altogether and gives out an award to the one who's sprayed the most..
It's called a catasstrophy   :shock:Me-Tony

Hi Carol
I once had a cat which was expert at getting into all sorts of places. Despite having a cat flap at home so that he could come and go whenever he wanted, he frequently disappeared. Then I would get a phone call asking me to come to collect him from wherever he had been found. (my phone number was on his collar)
He often got locked in the local pub, and they would find him sitting on the bar in the morning. One morning he was found curled up in a drawer of a filing cabinet in some offices, and he spent many nights locked in the local primary school. He even found his way to the nearby cattery, where they put him in a cage until I could collect him. I spent my whole time apologising to people for his behaviour, so it was quite embarrassing.
