Hi Tracy,
I just wanted to wish you good luck for tomorrow and you get some answers. I am glad your friend is doing the driving. Don’t be put off going to see your doctor earlier if you need to. Sometimes things happen all at once and your doctor will know that.
Fingers crossed for you.

Thanks Julie...
I feel alot more content knowing i have you all supporting me..
I am ready lol..
My appointment at 3 so will post later this evening and let you all know the outcome...
Spoke to my dughter about pimping up my stick and she seems to think i will look stupid(her age maybe 14) but i am def going to do it as it will reflect me and make me feel better... i know she will help but just not agree lol.. once she see's the finishing project she may even like itxxTracyxx0 -
Just thought i would give you an update on how i got on today..
The mass the radiologist saw was cysts, have started an injection today(once a month for 3 months) which will stop me from ovulating bit like going through menopause.. the injection will help if it is related to my ovary ie stop the pain and may also shrink the cysts.. after the 3 months i will have scan, if cysts still there they will remove ovary, if cysts not there but it helps with pain they will remove my ovary ... and if it doesn't help then the pain i been suffering is not gynae... You got that lol.. and to top it off the injection(prostap) can worsen my arthritis so i am taking livial to help with side effects.. So will go with the flow as usual.. I am glad it is nothing serious, a ca125 blood test has be done today just to rule out worse case scenario, but consultant seemed confident it was nothing to worry about, so a big relief.. My friend was a great help and asked many questions i wouldn't of considered.. so nice to have her there, she also brought her crutch so i can use.. found it quite useful and made me feel more comfortable and secure lol.. so all's good.. off to my ESA assesment tom so am sure with the distance i have to go i will be needing it...
Hope you are as ok as ok can be lol..xxxxTracyxx0 -
Went out for the first time properly with my stick..
Was really conscious at first.. but after a while i was ok and found the bus drivers very helpful and so were the people when getting in and off train..
This obviously boosted my confidence, the stick was a great support and i felt alot more secure and safe lol... So thanks for all your words of support it really helped..xxTracyxx0 -
Ye gods traluvie, it never rains but it pours. I hope this injection thingy helps to reduce the cyst (I had a massive one on my right ovary, 3.9 kilos it was and I never knew it was there until it all went wrong) and yes, you are right, having a support when walking does help. You pimp your stick for all you are worth: come Christmas my crutches will be wrapped in tinsel! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
