my treat today

Well today i went into college, doing beauty therapy and nearly finished, the next level up one of the girls was looking for a volunteer, i volunteered and had a gorgeous full body aromatherapy massage.
Wow, was so relaxed and the best bit, She gently massaged my knees, the feeling was amazing, going from them causing me so much pain and upset to feeling fantastic.
It has also given me a boost, i feel great.
Im starting that level in september, cant wait as we will have to practise on each other.
Also a good day my son who has learning difficulties is a year delayed all round, also in reading and writing, but he is 1 year advanced in spelling. I was amazed, shocked and made up.
So today is a good day.
But back to the uveitis clinic tomoroww with him, we have been slowly tapering off the eye drops the last 4 weeks, when we get to 3 times a day the flare gets worse, so will see tomorow if they have flared again, if so the rheumy wants to start him on methotrexate, the eye doc weants to hold off another month or 2 to see if they can taper off drops.
Anyway, hope today is good for all you out there, or maybe tomorrow, take care x

Oh princess, how lovely to read about your good day. I am glad the massage helped you, I was pleased to hear about your son's progress (I coach dyslexics, reading, writing and spelling are very different skills but it sounds as though he is doing OK!) and I wish you well with your course. Take care and let's hope that today's positive vibes last a while, yes? DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Princess glad that you have such a positive day and that the massage helped. my granson is also dyslexic and his spelling is awful but his maths has always been way ahead of his age group and did his maths gcse a year early. I can understand how great the feeling it is when they do something well.Stay positive always👍xx0

Hi Princess,
Oh the massage sounds lovely. I am going to get some information from our local college as you can get lots of beauty treatments by supervised students. I really want to try the back massage as a few people said how wonderful they feel afterwards.
Wonderful boost to hear your son has done so well.
Good luck with your course in September.
