School trip whoopie !!!

Had a lovely day out with a school trip to Richmond Castle and Easby Abbey. For people who do not know the area...its hilly. Well the weather was fairly kind and only a couple of showers...the kids loved it. Now home...chicken in the oven veg on top and have to walk the dog.... Very tired and aching... bed early for me i think.

    Hi lupin I don't do hills, I spent last week in the lakes I hated looking at them knowing I can't get up the buggers,anyway good on ya for doing it sorry I'm a bit of a crumpy old fart these days!. :lol:

    Hi Lupes, hope you manage to get some well earned rest. Richmond is a lovely place, have friends who live there. As you say, rather hilly..
    I'm with misery mell on this one though, don't do hills, lol..

    Not actually been to the castle, will have to check it out next time we are up there.

    Paid the price last night and this morning...hips knees ache but it was worth it. I must admit i am quite lucky at the moment...knees are ok but hubby not... Will soon be the weekend only one more get up and then...a lie in.
