Hello,

Wondering if any of you lovely people have any experience of this and if so, what are the symptoms?
Thanks,

Hi Magenta, I have a prolapsed disc and two bulging disc's in my neck, It causes numbness and pins and needles in my little finger and ring finger I also have terrible wrist weekness. I have ongoing severe osteoarthritis in my whole spine, I have seen a specialist and the risk's of surgery are far gretaer than managing things conservativly. I know use a wrist splint during the day and find that this helps with the pain and wrist movment, although it is very frustrating because it reduces the amount of rotation so takes some getting used too. I also have problems with severe acheing neck and shoulders and some times I get muscles spasms in this area. I have been using a wrist splint and this is a great help with reducing pain and inflamation.
I hope this helps........Hugs Sally XXXXXXXXX

    Hi Magenta

    Hope you are ok today.

The numbness and pins and needles in hands/ fingers is a definite consequences for some, but.....

I think some have actually been able to 'feel' a lump on their necks too.....?? Hope they come on and tell you what happens.

    Love

    Toni xx

Hi Magenta I hope you are managing ok.
Hello Sally thank you for your response, I have a bulging disc in my neck and was wondering why my wrist was so weak and unmanageably sore. I didn't realise the two had the possibility of being connected. xxx

Hello, I agree with Sally, I have disk problems in my neck and I have tramadol and amatriptylne, wrist splints and gentel exercises. I've been told the same as she has, that surgery is a risk not worth taking at this stage, I've just had an MRI and am waiting the result before the hospital device a treatment plan for me. Wrist splints are helpful, though.
