Hi. Just to let you know whats going on with me.

I've had myMRI on my neck, but have had no report back yet. Feel very frustrated and a bit fed up. I know that it takes a while for these things to go through the system and its only 2 weeks today I had it, but still frustrating.

I went to see my gP in the week to see if she has heard anything, but no, she hasn't and said give it 2 more weeks and if nothing has been done, she will contact the hospital and trace it down the line. She said if she did it now, it may confuse the systeme! I'm afraid I'm no good at waiting!
So that's the situation so far. Love Sue

    Hi Sue,

You and me both, I am a holy terror at waiting. But I think on this occasion I can't see any way round it, but to wait. Maybe you need to do something to keep your mind occupied, try and put it at the back of your mind.

Oh, who am I trying to kid, it is awful isn't it. But I'll share it with you, sending you hugs.

Hi, Waiting is something I don't like doing! Still, at least the MRI has been done quickly. 5pm on a Sunday, is hard to believe, but its good to know that those big, expensive machines are used to full capacity. I wasn't the last appointment either, several people were in the waithing room when I came out.
The funny thing is that I didn't know who had referred me to the physio until I saw my GP, I've seen so many people at the hospital and visited quite a few departments, I'd lost track  I'm trying to keep occupied with reading and a few gentle exercises my physio's have given over the time. Well, thats enough about me! Love sue. xx

    Hi Sue,

I hope you hear soon. Was this done to see how bad your cervical spondylosis is? I'll be interested in what they find as I'm sure you are  Let us know how you get on,

    Take care,

    Hi Sue,
No wonder you are frustrated and worried. The waiting is the worst isn’t it?
Could you ring up the consultant yourself? You certainly could do without all the stress.

    Hi Sue

I hope your results come back soon. When I had my mri scan for my neck I think it took about 4 - 5 weeks before the rhummy sent me a letter with the results.

    I hope yours are quicker
    Take care

Hi thanks for all the support. I would ring up to find out, but I'm not sure which consultant sent me, I've seen neuro, plastic and rhummy in the past few months and its all mixed up! My GP will phone up if I don't hear in a week. Why are things so complicated!!! Love Suexxx

Results can take an age - at least your hospital is working to its capacity, Ipswich could learn summat from that. Monday-Friday, 9-5 that's your lot. Do you remember the local outcry here when they announced they would use the machines at week-ends to screen pets? They wanted to do that for income - it didn't occur to them that they could actually treat the humans that were waiting an age for a scan. Oddly enough that plan never came to fruition. Anyway, with each day that passes you are one day closer to getting the results. They will come, they always do. I wish you well. DD
