Hi thats great to be seen quickly. Neurology is about nerves and how they are working. Carpell Tunnel is one of them and pinched nerves all that sort of thing. Really its a wide subject and covers so many things that its difficult to say. Try not to worry, I know its easy to say but hard to do! Good luck, for Thursday. Love Suexx

    Hi barbara

Lucy my youngest sees a neurologist for her epilepsy!!!

    True but not so relevant!!

I expect they will be looking at which nerves are being affected by your back in your case Barbara.

Some have had nerve tests for their carpel tunnel on here and they tset them using teeny tiny teeny tiny electrical impulses.

I ams ure nothing will hurt you - you need pocekt duties?

    Love

    Toni xx

No advice, Barbara, just lots of support. Neurology is one of the few departments I've never done.

Hi All, I've also got a visit to Neurologist Tuesday morning, a little anxiety on my part. I've unfortunately had a lot dealings with Ortho over the years, but, not sure what to expect, only investigation into neck and shoulders problems, in some form or another. Smashed and dropped so many things over the last few months, wife doesn't trust me brewing up, making meals and handling baby grandaughter, just a few things to mention. I shouldn't complain really, but, it is a problem that, hopefully, they'll find the cause. Good Luck All. John x :???:

Hi Barbara, just wanted to wish you well for your appt. Neuros are my least favourite doc they seem to have no bedside manner. I hope you are taking someone with you.

They normally ask you to describe your symptoms and possibly refer you on for further tests, if you have already had mri, then it may be nerve conduction tests or emgs.

    I wish you well,
Will be with you in thought. x
