I had my esa appeal today and passed.
I was terriffied but was only in the room for 5 minutes, there was a doctor and a judge ,who were very friendly...i was awarded 15 straight points for not being able to bed, kneel, crouch, added to the 6 i already had for not being able to sit for long, they had decided this from the paper work. they didnt ask me a single question, the nurse who did my medical said i couldnt bend or crouch but i got no points for it.

I dont know how any of this makes sense.

I hopes this helps others of you who may be attending their own appeal soon

Gill

I am so glad you were awarded it..

That is such a relief .. one less thing for you to worry about..

It is a crazy system they have.. The person who did my esa medical last week never even asked me about bending or anything?? Wonder what he put down??

The good thing was that it was over in 5 minutes too... so a big mistake on the persons part who did your initial assesment.. Wonder if they get pulled up??

thank you all for your replies...

it is nice to be believed and that im not lying.

i really think the nurse that did my medical should be pulled up, becaue she noted i couldnt bend etc,or was it the descion maker who was wrong?

its a terrible waste of money all these appeals must cost a fortune......

now im more relaxed il try and come on the forums more and get to know peeps..

    take care all
