Good GP-took a while!

Hiya,

Just to let you know that I went to see a different GP today about lots of things.
Told him about the lump in my neck that I've had for over 2yrs-too long a story-he's referring me to ENT. To get lots of bloods done next week. Also, mentioned the numbness in my arms, hands and fingers. He gave me a proper examination and then said he was referring me to an Orthopaedic consultant to look at my neck. Felt good that he didn't dismiss me with the old 'it must be your fibromyalgia' thing.

No doubt I'll be waiting a while but I don't mind,

    Glad you now have a gp that you feel you can trust and listens to what you say.

    Hi Eileen , That sounds like a result , I hope you get some help. I think there are some terrible GPs I have had a lot of trouble with some , one that is'nt even my GP. Every now and then if we are lucky a good one comes along.I hope you get some help , jillyxx

    That sounds good......changing of docs can work.
    I had a useless GP and I've changed {recently} havent been to see him yet but hers hoping its as good as your result seems to have been
