Hi all
Well went to see Dr today my blood test were all ok no problems there, the thyroid one has not yet come back. on the question of the tremors shown on the ECG were nothing to worry about. She has stopped the amitriptyline as she realised that I got a bit stressd and axncious over that when they said the 1st ECG done at the doctors was a problem and not clear. she still thinks I need something to help when i get very very low and tearful and that this is making the pain worse.so has now prescribed citalopram 10mg, hoping to improve the pain through improving the low moods rather than upping the other Meds. So Citralopram here we come well tomorrow as I start then. Have got to see Dr again in 2 Weeks.
Stay positive always👍xx

I've been on citalopram for a fortnight now and they have helped. Someone told me that if it is the right med for you, you will feel a difference sooner rather than later: all I can say is that I felt 'better' within myself after three days. I am still yo-yo-ing a little, but the extremes of mood are nowhere near as dramatic as they were. I wish you well. DD

Hi all it's the weepy lady :lol::lol: think that's what i'll call myself now.
thanks for all your replies it dose help to know people read your posts and understand. DD good to hear how much they have helped you hopefully its the right one for me too, and that the doc is right and in the end it helps with the pain. after suffering for nearly 6 years with arthur I am under no illusions that this going to cure it or that i'm suddenly going to never have bad days as I know that it's not going to happen, but i,m hoping the new med will help me cope better than I am now. :?:

    Hi Carol,

Good luck with the new meds and reassuring that the blood tests have come back negative. It certainly has been a rollercoaster ride for you. I hope this weekend is a better one for you.

Time will tell, turbogran, my fingers are crossed with you. My box says it can be taken with or without food, so I do mine when I first wake up, have brekkie, then after about another half an hour I do the rest. DD

    Hi Carol,

Sorry I am late in replying to this. First of I would like to say that your not the weeping Lady, and once these tabs get into your system you def wont be.

And I am very glad for you that everything came back ok for you. You must have been very worried about it all.

And if anyone has been the weeping, it's been me recently and you came to my aid.
