Our too much is everyone else's not much. It does get one down, doesn't it? I think you got the balance about right valval, with the pottering and resting, but obviously your arthritis was not in the mood to co-operate. I hope things feel better soon. DD

It is one of the most difficult complications of all, the variations from day-to-day. I guess none of us have ever really mastered that one. Rest up, recuperate and let's hope the week-end is a good one. DD

Sorry you're on a payback day, valval. Hope you'll be better for the weekend.

Wedding rings, eh? Not even sure I can remember where mine is! I still like it but no way can I wear it.

Ah, the seductive powers of arthritis win again. Devious ****, isn't it? I have learned over the years not to listen: if my body says I can, that means I can't. It's not easy tho. I hope things feel better tomorrow, Val. DD

This is when I get really down, when I want to do something and can't, I get really frustrated with myself.
I also tend to over do things thinking I can still do, then the day after I feel like its one step forward two steps maybe three back.
Same here with the rings, had to take mine off on Thursday last week, and haven't managed to get them back on.
Whoever said life begins at 40 wants shooting because since my 40th Birthday my health has gone downhill.
I used to love decorating and could have a room painted and papered in a couple of days, Ive just done my spare room and it took me 4 weeks, and that was only painting, can't hang paper anymore, but I always try to look on the bright side, and think there are people worse off than me.

I think we all push ourselves, It's something we all need to do to see what is the max we can do. But sometimes we all go to far and Arthur rears his head to tell us off by bringing pain upon us and makes us rest! But I think we all will keep on doing it as it's something we all need to do to push ourselves.
We all are strong willed little buggers!!

This is so true, and even though we do suffer the next day, we keep on doing it.
Some days I just wish uncle Arthur, would go out for the day, and leave me alone.

I'm on total rest day today by OH! Woke up this morning and my knee's are playing up! (both!!) Like a sharpe shooting pain. Plus got to rest my 2 broken toes! So starting to well and truely fall apart! It always seems to happen a few weeks before we go on holiday! Like a bad omen! And it looks like he has asked my sister-in-law to come over and keep me rested with a girly chat! So suttle darling so suttle!! LOL!

Valval, I am in awe! Well done on a very energetic weekend. The wheelbarrow will look very cheerful on a dull day.
