Aghh!! operation tomorrow

Evening all, I'm having an operation tomorrow on my shoulder (arthroscopy)
not looking forward to it at all! :cry:
I know it will be worth it when everything heals etc but it still doesn't stop me worrying.
The good thing is, its in a private hospital paid for by the nhs.
I will have my own room- en suite, it looks more like a hotel and the staff are brilliant.
I will be out of action for a few days then physio will start so I can get movement back straight away.
Will let you know how I get on in case anyone else is having the same op in the future.

    somehow I don't think i'll be up to having steak but if I get any will bring it home in a doggy bag.
    Nice to know I'm not alone, better get off to bed now got an early start.

    Hi Lilly,
    I had the same operation on my right shoulder an arthroscopy 4 years ago, also privately. I had frozen shoulder and bone spurs which had to be shaved off.
    My consultant had me in physio the next day...that I do remember as painful so, make sure you take any pain relief offered before you start the physio and you'll be fine.
    I had a good range of movement 2 wks after so was well worth it.
