Hiya, I got a blue badge today, i couldnt beleive how straightforward it was.

No the next hurdle getting dla on reconsideration.

The blue badge will help me so much, and no more sqeezing between cars with a stick in tow.

Happy today.

Hope everyone else isnt too bad xx

    Hi Princess
Im so glad you have got it, I cant believe what a difference it makes, like you say more room between cars then you dont have to try and get in sideways.
    Good luck with the DLA.
    Love

Well done you......it will make such a difference like you say.....the space between cars etc.
It also helps me 'cause I got a new car last Fri..only 9 days old.....and I'm still babying her ....its great to be able to park in such a wide space

Just a small tip also always check when you are parking on public car parks that have a pay meter, always check whether it is free for blue badge holders as not all of them are, as I found out a few months ago in Haworth.
I got fined £90, I know it was my own fault for not checking, but I have IBS and was desperate for the loo, and just assumed it was free with my badge, but it wasn't. thankfully I just got back in time before he clamped me, and my daughter was with me, as we had only gone out for a drive, when I got caught short, so didn't have any money on me, and if you don't pay it within that day, the fine went up.
I appealed about it, but have never heard anything back from them, I even sent my " can't wait card" and have never had that returned, I'm giving them until the end of this month, then writing back to them if only to get my card back, and doesn't look like I'm getting my money back, just just check.
