I know this is a silly question but what do you need for a disabled rail card?
Do you need to be receiving DLA or will a blue badge do?

You can also get it if you have vision problems or wear a hearing aid (hearing problems!) and, I think am right in saying this, you don't need to show evidence of that. You could check out the website.
