Hugs please.

Hello Everyone.
I have just had to have my lovely little dog put to sleep. I had her when she was 7 weeks. she would have been 16 in November.
I am sorry to tell you all this but you are all so kind I thought it would help me.

My heart goes out to you. I know what it's like to lose, really a member of the family. I can only say that your dog will always be with you and looking over you.

Oh Sue, I am so, so sorry. What a dreadful thing but please take comfort from the fact that your lovely companion and friend is now free from the distresses of age, after spending a wonderful lifetime with your care and love. I am thinking of you. DD

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.



All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

My heart really goes out to you, I think only real animals lover can understand the pain of losing your best friend.
I know my little dog was my best friend,

Just take it one day at a time.....

I'm so sorry to hear of the death of your dog, Joan and Sue. Sixteen years is a long time to live with a dog so you will miss her very much, but I'm sure she had a lovely life with such caring owners. I hope you will take comfort from knowing that you gave her a very good life.

Oh, I am so sorry that you are having to go through this horrible grieving time.

You must miss the wee dude so much. In time, I hope you are able to take some comfort from remembering all the fun times and that you gave such a loving home for all those years.

Oh Sue, I am so sorry to hear about your sad loss. It does hurt I know and no words can express how you will be feeling now.
It is really so hard to let our little friends go but you did the right thing and hopefully you will be able to remember the fun times you had together soon.
