Hi to all,

I wanted to let you all know that since that lovelly doctor put me on anytriptoline(no,still cant spell it)for me to sleep at night, there has been a big turnaround. I am now not using a stick indoors any more I feel loads better in myself. I am more able to do most of the housework(not vaccing) and I am gradually getting control of my house again. It's a good feeling. I have been out and done some shopping, not carrying anything, using a trolley, and using 1 stick. I feel it wont be long before I can be without sticks all to gether.

I wanted you all to know all of you have helped me get to this point and I am so grateful to all of you.

I am sending great bigs hugs for all of you.

Karen xx

I am glad to hear that the amytryp is working and you are doing better in yourself but please, please, please, my dear girl, continue to take things steadily. I reckon you still have some way to go, don't rush matters and set yourself back, you will just undo all the good work you have done so far (despite the best efforts of your hospital to harm you! ) A new hip is a blessing, let's hope yours works out just fine. Thanks for your replies. I just thought a bit of good news would be welcome. I know I still have a way to go yet but now I feel the worst is over now.

Hileena, when you do get yours I do hope that they work for you as they did me, just to get a good nice sleep means so much.

    Hi karen

that is brilliant news. I am so glad that you are starting to feel better and more positive. Just doing little chores and the fact you don't use your stick in doors will make you feel heaps better.
    Plus....ssleeping better helps too.

    Take care

    Hello Karen,
It is so important to have a proper nights rest and I am so pleased the new medication has worked for you. As everyone has said you are doing really well but please go slowly.

I hope you have your name down for some TLC this weekend.

Glad to hear you're on the mend. A nice positive bounce in your tone but as someone has already said, slowly but surely.

Determination and motivation Karen, hope things keep improving for you.
