Well, had my first drive today after my fusion. Wasn't too bad at all, no pain, just a little wierd having to adjust my driving style. fine control of speed was a touch difficult but I managed fine (Used the bend in my big toe for that aspect)

First full day without the aircast as well. no real pain at all but feeling a slight ache now so will sit with a nice cuppa and put my foot up.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Rob

    Hi,
Great news about the driving.....I'm lost without my car. For the ones with mobility probs a car is a godsend......I remember then7 weeks after my THR when I couldnt drive {although I had no desire to} but at the minute I can't {or I dont feel very safe driving} but would love to be able to.
So well done you....keep it up

    Love

Well done Rob, a good mile stone to overcome. No wonder you were tired after it will have been a wee bit tense for you but hopefully it will become easier soon.
    Enjoy your well earned cuppa.

Bet that was a relief, to get behind the wheel again.

    You'll soon regain your stamina.
