    Oh Tones
You are a love to post this, I need all the encouragement I can get, I have to have them both done.
Its partly down to me being scared and partly because they say I might not be any less in pain because of my back
But I have watched your post from the very start and you are an inspiration.
    So A big Thankyou.
    Love
    Barbara

Its good to hear you are coming on so well.

Congrats Tonysp. Why were you wheeling all that gravel about?

Joan - 16 years old, that is good, what type was it? My left THR is now 14 years old. Hoping it lasts until I breathe my last!!

I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

Hi, It's really great to hear how well you are doing! I'm not on the waiting list, but I know I'd worry about how mobile I'd be and how strong the hip is. I'm sure you will help people who are waiting for this op. Don't do your back in with too much barrowing, though! Love Sue

I'm another one who had awful back pain before
a THR 18 months ago, and now I dont have much
back pain at all, and considering that I have protruding
discs and a small fracture in my back, well, thats not so bad at all eh?

So try not to worry too much Barbara.
