i understand he likes being with you but long term you will not be doing him any favours if he does not mix with others even if you have to go along as well to start with he needs others in his life . keep going with the driving you are doing well so good luck valval0

Hi Mike
So it's nearly here then?
A bit scarey now...all my luck will be with you on the day...l promise
As for Mike jnr...what does he want to do now he has left? Being shy it will be difficult to find 'something' for him wont it?
Love

Hi Mike, Good luck.I was never any good at listening to instructers directions. It is so much easier when you have passed your test and you are left alone. If you go the wrong way only you will know about it!
My son is like your Mike, he just wants to stay on his laptop all day. I do try to get him out a bit, to a swimming pool, shops just to get him out among people, even if not interreacting directly. We took him to a youth club last week but he hated it.School can knock some childrens confidence, he probably just wants to left alone for awhile. Just take small steps at a time as home is where he feels safest.
