OH and I always do the decorating together.I always swear and moan when wallpapering and OH gets more paint on her than on the woodwork!
Therefore I always do the painting (am a dab hand at it) and OH is superb at wallpapering, together we get excellent results................

A tirck I use for old mashed spud is to chop an onion put some warer and Olive oil in a pain part boil then fry ti, add this to the mashs then once you've re-heated it it takes away that old mash taste you can sometines get.

I love spam and, have to say, I give to my daughters in sandwiches as a treat and they LOVE it  Delicious stuff and it's gluten free. Love bananas and custard too but not had it for a while as my 12 year old has taken to eating cold custard straight from the tin as she loves it so much.

I love tinned fruit salad and tip top :D That's a proper pudding from my childhood... and sponge cake with custard.

Now what was the title of this thread? Oh yeah, in the 14 years we've been togeher, my hubby does the gardening and the DIY and anything that involves any screwdrivers, hammers etc (the reason for that being that anything like that always ends up in the garage, no matter how many times I buy my own tools and put them somewhere safe). I do the housework and laundry although hubby is a dab hand at the ironing.

I don't do a lot of housework now - training up my girls - and we share the cooking as we both love cooking and are proper foodies.

It's good that your girls are learning Nina - prepares them for when they fly from home :)

I loved tin chicken supreme and still do. I think our longing for certain foods is it is associated with our childhoods. Even though packet Mash is considered unhealthy it just makes me think of being little and carefree with both parents alive and well. So that is why I like to eat it nowadays.

I tend to do the washing up, drying up, ironing, sweeping and the light stuff but leave the garden and Car and DIY to my OH. Dividing the chores is the best way.
