Hiya

Was out again with my friend. We went out for a walk in our area, Silverdale, had seen walk and we decided to head off there....It was warm and the directions werent great, we took wrong turns, found ourselves in deep woodland...
Eventually sat down and had lunch, chat and moan.....We set off back to the car, its always a quicker journey back than there isnt it? We then went to the beach and sat there gibbering away till 7pm...
Next day was in shower, now have 10 bites must have great tasty skin!! Getting up was awful, leg felt broken, kind of hopped, skipped and jumped to get breakfast...All weekend have felt rotten, so sore, wobbly and weak....My friend has ME, she is suffering too...
We conceded we'd done too much, and we cannot do it anymore, but both had a great day....
I wanted my op appointment this weekend really....

    Hi Elaine,
I know that feeling only too well at the moment :???: I'm sorry you're feeling so achy and sore it's not nice at all, but I bet it was nice to be out in good weather with a friend and catch up? Have a moan, a laugh and then sit on the beach, it sounds like you and you're friend had a really good day together  xxx

    Hi Poppy

Yes it was a nice day but we walked in total for about 2 hours and thats too far for both of us.....If we were both in tiptop condition it wouldnt be a problem but we are weaklings!! We did walk up quite a steep hill too at one point....
    Was good company though....

I know you're suffering Elaine but you did do it and sometimes it's worth it. It'll give you and your friend a laugh in years to come.

You may find gentle quads will help, Elaine. They did with mine.

    Hi Elaine,
You are suffering ...which is a pity but think of the nice day you had....walk and friends.
At least you'll be able to judge how far you can/cant walk the next time.
I bet it was lovely out in the sun.....and as we always say on here there is always a payback

I'm sure the people at the gym will know you, and your needs, far better than I Elaine. Just make sure they know in advance of any current delicate bits. And good luck.
