Bubbles, I do hope that your dad is comfortable and wont be in for to long. And that you must try and rest in between visits. You have to be careful and make sure you do get plenty of rest so you can help your dad.

looking at those who post on here the new ones have yet to meet our matron as she has been missing on night duty for a while now and does look in but no energy to post tony know you stayed in touch with her good on you pal. we need each other to get through things hospital visiting is made so much harder with arther tagging along.
bubbles is a very brave lady who is always there for those of us in need and wandering the halls at night who although awall is not forgotten valval0 -

Hello friends, thank you so much for your kind words and support, it is encouraging and helpful to say the very least.
Things are progressing in the right direction, sorry I cannot write much, but arthur is snapping at the heels. I will be back with my medicine trolley as soon as I can, I miss everyone.

Oh Bubbles Im so sorry I missed this, and Thanks to Val for starting it, its really nice to know we can be there for one another, I know for one it makes me feel better.
I do hope your Dad will be ok, I know how stressful this is, and when I went through with my parents I was young and fit then.
So you make sure that you look after yourself.

Life has been hectic it is Charlottes and Tia's prom today and l ahve been manic.

Home tomorrow, all being well, I was Matron and no denying, when we visited today - right my dears, what is going on, discharge tomorrow? Good, what time, is the ambulance booked? Pills ordered from pharmacy? Good. Home carers reinstated? Good.............. Bet the staff were glad when we had gone
Had a natter with the ward Matron, made her laugh, she had had a bad day and thanked me for making her chuckle.
Am I being good, no, major payback from yesterday, almost unable to walk, but, carrying on. Hopefully we are getting there. XX BubblesXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

glad you made her smile it a hard job but some of them are better than others at it dad had some great staff others were well will say no more it used to be a vocation now it a job which is a shame.
