Early morning call (5.40am) woken up by the dog running around the bedroom crawling under the bed and running up and down the stairs...Yelled at him thought he was chasing the cat..WRONG a very unpleasant smell and a room full of sh.t.......lovely. Hubby leapt out of bed pulled his shorts on which he had left beside the bed......brown stuff all over his legs and hands, he was yelling, swelsh....what have i stood in......yes you have guessed. Once i had pulled the curtains i saw the damage. Dog in the back garden and me cleaning the floor. Well i can laugh about it now....should have taken pics of hubby's face. Turns out the dog helped himself to chocolate mini rolls yesterday morning when hubby popped out.....keep telling him to make sure he cannot help himself to anything. Dog now exiled to the garden for the day. And the room now smells of sparkling green apple glade refresh-air.
How did your day start???

Been down this one as well lupin, thing is don't blame the dog something upset it I just hope the poor buggers really not well poor old thing must have been in a bit of a panic, now our two year old on the other hand went through a phase of being very vigilant as spotting an opertune target and then hitting it with more precission than a bloody Reaper drone.
Last year he did it the first night we were away, he waited until we were fast asleep then hit 4 targets almost simultanesoly and from both ends, for the first tewn minutes after waking up I was sure he'd actually exploded!.0 -
The dog has been very sheepish today.... he is a swine for taking food so it was hubbys fault leaving such a tempting treat on the side that he could get to. It would have been rude not to eat them but chocolate and dogs do not go together. Hubby has since found another deposit .....but in the garden Phew. Scrambled eggs for the dog for tea tonight. Must admit where does it all come from..... ???????? How can it fit in them....amazing really.0

Hi lupin you should never let yaa dog eat chocolate it's poisonus to them as it contains theobromine there's also no antidote to it either, you really need to Google it to see what the fatal dose and or the effects of it are as it depends on types of the chocolate digested and how much dog size etc. I would do it as soon as you read this post.0

Hi i did no that it was not good for a dog but did not realise it could kill them...thankfully our dog is big so we are OK. He has not been given anything to eat today...plenty to drink and choc in sight.. This is not the first time he has done this but it is the worse reaction because of how much he eat. Thanks for the information.
PS bedroom smells OK...thank goodness0 -
well Lupin you get the medal for most chocolate in a dog, I however have the one for most chips, a few years ago I thought I'd let the dog have all our chips we'd left, the dog loved them but they only stayed down for about 20 minutes and came back a darn sight faster than when they went it!.
Still not as bad as when Ozzy exploded on hoilday, Jesus what a mess!.0
