Hi all,
Won't be long message my hands not gd at all2day. Most of you know the hydroxy been working well in regards to my pain levels..last night and today though my pain has been intense again like it was before.. i have been having odd bouts of pain recently, but been and gone in a minute..am worried this may mean the hydroxy may not be working as much... or could it be a flare that people talk about.. i do feel really rough and tired, much more than usual.and my smiley face not too smiley 2day.

Tracy *gentle hugs* How long have you been feeling like this? I try to note my flares and see how long they last and how often they are. For me, hydroxy didn't work at all but on MTX, I noticed clear patterns of not too many symptoms and flare central.

Sending love and strict orders to rest and not push yourself at all. I was told to pace myself except when in a flare which is when rest, sleep and pain relief is in order.

Traluvie, just here to wish you all the best. I'm not even sure what that means for you right now butI guess you'd settle for a bit less pain however it comes. Hope it all goes well. I'll pop a bottle in the fridge then we can either celebrate success or drown our sorrows later.

    Long may it continue, Traluvie.

It's the celebratory wine tonight then?

    Hi traluvie

Sending you a long twirly straw so you don't have to hold the glass.

Hope you managed your 40 winks yesterday and I am glad you are feeling a tad better today.

    Hi Tracy,
I am glad you are feeling a little better and hopefully you are just having a blip with the hydroxyl. Perhaps you were a little stressed with having to go to the hospital and that caused the problem. Try and have another nap today. I do hope your weekend is a relaxing one for you.

Bless you, you've not got the hang of this yet, Traluvie. The glass doesn't matter at all - it's the contents that are important. I'm not too sure about Julie's offer of a straw. Doesn't that make you drunk? Or is it just beer and lager and fizzy stuff? How about a 1/2 pint beer glass with a handle? Don't worry, we'll sort something out. It's Zinfandel tonight. My husband's just popped it in the fridge as we came back from the supermarket - before I filled up all available space with trivialities like veg & fruit juice.
