    Hi,

I agree with Heelena, it won't do any harm. Congratulations on getting your blue badge as it's sooooo great not to have to park far away.

Keeping fingers crossed for you and sincerely hope you are awarded your DLA.

    Good luck xxxx

Well found out yesterday i was turned down again on reconsideration for dla. I just dont understand, my consultant and gp in both reports put that my OA in knees was moderate to severe and I could walk 20 meteres without stopping, i struggle climbing the stairs and coming down, lots of things.

I feel so down today, its a kick in the teeth, i have to put up with all the pain, not being able to do things 33 year olds do, cant even play with my son in the park and then be turned down.

I put in my application that I would require support with children out and about (meaning when my 2 year old likes to run off and someone can chase him) and they put on my refusal that they can not assist for child care!!!! I haven't even asked for that! Lol

Princess, sorry to hear that

I was turned down and appealed and appealed, even went in front of a panel all who fire questions and is really daunting. I kept saying to myself that I wasn't going to give up the fight and that eventually somebody would listen. For me like most people it's not about the money is about recognition.

In my form, I didn't mention metres or yards...I literally put that I walk few steps, stop, then walk some more, then stop and so on. I hold on to whoever is out with me and I walk slow. I crossed out the metres because you don't measure. I really don't like when the medical profession do things like that. I said to my nurse practioner.....with all respect, all patients are different and you only get a snap shot of my life when you see me.

Have you tried contacting CAB who can assist you with forms and argue on your behalf? I know it's easier said than done but I hope you don't give up the fight.

    Love from Eve

Sorry Princess but forgot to say that yes Moderate to Severe is at which level the condition is, that does not mean that you are well to carry out tasks like a person who is fit and healthy.

I put everything I could think of in my form. Sometimes I feel that more information is better because the first time I was turned down was due to not enough.

Definitely urge you not to give up hun and speak to CAB.
