Hi Joan,

Just wondered how you were hopping along? And how's Sue? And how much longer is it until you get back to putting both feet on the ground? Hope things are going well.

Hey Joan, good to hear from you. You're still hopping until 26th??? Blimey, I think we should re-christen you Skippy. I hope the injections are going well. I always hate long-term foot/leg elevation. I have to keep switching to different things to keep it comfy.

I'm doing OK now. Thanks for asking. My knee stood up well to the stairs at my son's & the revision one was fantastic. The old one's still not as good as it was before it went wonky but tons better than it was at its worst.

Keep doing whatever you're doing, Skippy. It seems to be working. I'm so pleased.

    Hi Joan,
You have some way to go yet then. I hope the soft boot is more comfortable for you when you come out of the plaster.
I’m not so bad thank you for asking. I have just been outside to collect some home grown fruit and veg for tea. The sky is black with thunder in the air so I can feel a storm headache coming on.

    Hi Joan

Been wondering how you are getting on............ :!:
Assume now you've mastered the injections. Is it really nearly 5 weeks since the op.!Next stage then is the boot,be nice after all this time hopping.

I'm still in plaster but now lightly weight bearing and no hopping.Have appointment next week with surgeon hope to get rid of plaster and have boot, will then be more mobile.Everything seems to be ok,still have foot elevated when resting.

Hope all continues ok for you and wish you all the best.

    Regards

No, I think I've kind of merged into the shed roof now. When I come down it'll bear my imprint for ever more.

Glad you're still doing well. Counting every injection and every day though. Quite right too. So would I. You're doing brilliantly.
