Hello everyone,

I'm new to the site and have been living with arthritic pain in my hands and wrists for the best part of 8 years now. Some days are manageable, others not so much. I realise there are many people that are a lot worse off than I am and my heart goes out to them. I recently read that collagen supplements may help ease arthritis pain, but before I part with my hard earnt pennies I thought I'd ask if anyone here has had any success with collagen supplements.

Many thanks,

Charlie

Ah, the key word is present - may. As far as I am concerned there is nothing around to ease the pain, even the medical pain dullers only give a temporary relief of a small percentage of the total amount. We all, however, think differently on these things, we all react differently to these things, the only way to find out is to try. I am in my fifteenth year of dross, in the past I have been there, done that with homeopathy, glucosamine, rose hip, now I save what few pennies I have for shiny sparkly things - they give a far better relief and longer-lasting diversion from my affected joints. Some of the shiny sparkly things are crutches which are very useful. I wish you well. DD
