Hi everyone,

You may remember that I posted a few weeks ago about the problems am having with my wet room. Well, the battle goes on as everyone writes to each other but no-one has even had the courtesy to call me and discuss the problems with me. Two things come to mind when I battle, CHESS and MAZE cos if one route fails, then I have to try another route.

This is where I would like your suggestions and advice. I am now writing to the Chief Executive of the housing association in the hope that things will get sorted. I will be enclosing photograph, list of works carried out since wet room installed. However, the letter is 2 pages long. How much is too much information or too little?????????? I don't want to bore him but I also don't want him to dismiss the problem. Would love your suggestions.

I took the previous advice given here and today someone from an independent organisation is taking a look at the wet room. Thanks for the advice....keeping my fingers crossed that at least I will have something to send to the housing association.

Thanks again. xxxxx

Eve

Think I'd be inclined to either pick out the most imporatnt bits in bold or send a cover sheet with it listing the really important bits separately.

He probably needs to see the lot but not be so overfaced that he's inclined to leave it for 'later'.

    Good luck!

    Hi eve

Can you condence your pages into one perhaps and draw their attention to the most important bits. When they respond to you ,hopefully face to face you can then tell them absolutely everything.

Sorry if this isn't very helpful, and I hope you get sorted soon.

    Good luck.

    Update,

The gentleman came and YES, will be sending me a report

I have taken your advice, looked at the letter and condensed it. However, I still make it to 1.5 pages lol. Also took your advice and highlighted the bits which I feel are important. I don't think I can condense it more.

I won't be sending the report with it, as I want to see what they say first because I do feel I have been fobbed off by them taking short cuts. Will produce the report at a later stage.

What gets me is, how we all have to prove how things affect us on a daily basis.......yet scam artists just get away with it. Something wrong there.

Thank you so much xxxxxxxxx love to you all

Hi guys hope you are all doing well.

Just wanted to give you an update. Letter and documents taken personally to Chief Exec from Housing Association. I have had a letter back; it's now been registered as a Formal Complaint and being investigated. Spoke to two people at HA and they can't believe the trouble I have had.

Fingers crossed that I get a positive outcome and hope it comes before my next OP.............. :???:
