hospital tomorrow-confused

Hi all,off to hospital tomorrow to see rhummy nurse be the first visit since taking reduced dose of lef and flare-up,had bloods done last week so will see whats happening with them,are people out there allowed to take steroids when they think they need them or on the advise of doctor,i was weened off them slowly ,took a few when i had flare and certainly helped .have got them in just in case ,would it be best to talk to nurse about them,i surpose it would.sorry if this sounds a bit rambling am talking to myself in my head,not really cracking up just a bit confused about what to do.Mig :???:

    you should ask while you are there, but l am pretty sure most doctors (well consultants at least) would be ok with those with inflamatory arthritises having courses now and then.

    In fact my ex FIL has a course in for his emphysema.

    Just want to say hope your appointment goes well tomorrow. I would ask the rhummy nurse about your steroids. Sorry can't be of much help but I am not on steroids. I do however from time to time ask for a steroid boost in my bottom and they dont hesitate.
