i'm a liar, i can get in and out the bath.....I can get up and down the stairs safely, i can get the toilet from my bed safely at night, i can get out of a chair easily.

I obviously must be such a liar, why didnt the DLA just send a letter saying, YOU ARE LYING!!!!!

Either I am lying or they missed the part of the form, my letter, consultant letter and gp letter stating I cannot get in and out the bath without someone else supporting me. I struggle to get up and down the stairs and do so very slowly, with a great deal of pain and my knees sometimes give way on the way down, and the rest of the things i cannot do safely.

Im such a liar thats why the council decided to give me a blue badge and why the council assessed my needs and decided that i have urgent needs status to move into a ground floor level 2 bedroom council accommodation, which means i go top the list if a bungalow comes free.

Anyway, I'm not upset at this reconsideration decision, just cant beleive that they put on the letter that i can do these things when all the evidence says i cant.

Onwards and upwards, i have the form for the appeal/request tribunal. Just need to find an amazing person who knows lots about this kinda thing to represent me, not the CAB - who i dont trust.

I must stop lying

Hello princess and nice t meet you

So sorry...and shocked that DLA has been refused despite all the evidence provided by your consultant etc.

Just wanted to wish you good luck in appealing the decision.

I've posted this link on appealing DLA which I hope might be helpful!

Princess , appeal appeal and again appeal ! I was once refused higher rate and threatened them with a court trial ; surprisingly they rethought their decision and granted my request by return of post ! Don't give up . By the way , easy to check ~ no burning knickers , not lying . Jillyb

I am so sorry that you have been turned down it makes me so mad I see people who I know are on the full whack if dissability and yet they are more mobile and active than myself. I too was turned down even after an appeal. My form was filled in by a professional (not CAB) who said she would guarantee I would get it, I didn't! I gave up in the end. Glad I'm not the only one though
