Hiya! Hope you are all coping with your ailments and not suffering too much!

Well, I went to my doctor yesterday as I think I now have arthritis in my other ankle, he thinks it maybe just soft tissue, but I am having an x ray to make sure!

Does anyone know ANYTHING about soft tissue? I didnt ask him as thought I would wait for my x ray and results!
Cazz.

    Hello Cazz

From time to time one of my ankles swells for no apparent reason - and it doesn't appear to be connected to the typical rheumatoid inflammation. I did have an x-ray at one point to see if I had damaged the joint but it came back fine so the conclusion I drew was that it was soft tissue injury -which I understand to be the "non-bony" bits of the ankle. Not sure that's any help at all - sorry. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long for the x-ray - but I think I am right in saying that, unless it you have damaged the "bony bits" it won't show up on the x-ray.

    Good luck with it.

    Love Tilly xxx
