Taking a nap ...

After doing a 12.5 hour shift yesterday (I work in a maternity unit) I need the next morning when the kids are in preschool to have an extra sleep. So I got home, watched some tv. Bed at 22.30. Up at 6.30. Kids to school and home at 9.10. Tea, toast, change bed and now 10.05. It's snooze time till 11.30 :).
Anyone else feel like this after working a day?

That was a long shift, no wonder you are tired and young children too.

Everyone needs a nap at some point in the day just to recharge our batteries.

I reckon that napping when you get the chance is a good "survival strategy". You're certainly not alone in that!

I've cleverly learnt to sleep with my eyes open!
