Does anyone have any suggestions on devices to help me Squeeze Bottles. I have trouble squeezing them even with two hands and it is a pain having to wait for Hubby for everything he squeezes my conditioner and shampoo into tubs but there are somethings like washing liquids that you can't scoop out of a tub and i wondered if anyone had any suggestions.

    Hi tracey.

Most of my things like handwash, shampoo, bubble bath and washing up liquid are in pump despencers. My oh transfers these for me.

I also have the problem of squeezing bottles. Sometimes i have laid the salad cream on the worktop and squeezed in tthe middle with my arm across it and aimed for my plate. (not really recommended as it does tend to go on worktop more than plate  )
Hope someone comes wih more ideas
    take care

Tracey I have the same problem. Its a simple thing but it can be such a big difficulty. I also cannot get lids off pill bottles, bleach etc. Does anyone have any tips on an easy way to open these.

Julie thanks for the tip about transferring liquids into pump dispensers, I would never have thought of that. I cant squeeze bottles and get so frustrated especially with shampoo, conditoner etc. I will send hubby to buy these today and he can get everything sorted. Thanks again.

    Thanks Delboy

I will ask the pharmacy about this next time I order my meds. The funny thing is that when I cant get the "childproof" lids off my tablets I usually ask one of my nieces to do it for me and they are all children:)

I hadn't realised, until Julie mentioned it, but I always squeeze contents out of washing up liquid containers, toothpaste tubes and virtually anything else you squeeze by lying it flat over the sink etc and pressing my elbow on it. You get more accurate with practice!

    Hi

I used to have real problems with shower gel.. Ok when it was a full bottle but by the time it had been used a few times I just couldn't squeeze it out.. I used to transfer the remainder to an empty antibacterial hand gel bottle ...

Thank you for all your replies
I think i will have to try Julie and Sticky's idea of lying it down and taking an aim and fire... so stand back
I have tried the decanting it into a pump dispenser but i can't squeeze it to get it in there so i have to ask hubby to do that.

Hi, I find if I keep the bottles the way the salad cream comes out, and in a cupboard not a fridge, get my husband to loosen the cap, then give it a slight shake before I take the cap off, then the first part of the bottle is quite easy. The second half gets harder and I throw away more than I should, when knowone's about to help me! I hate the foil pill packets that all my pills come in, I can't get throw the foil and when I do the chances are that pill shoots under the bed or cupboard, never to be seen again! Love Suexx

Sue, I turn the foil packs over so the flat side is facing me then run my thumb nail (Or a pointy knife'd do) over one of the edges of the bit I want to open and it rips easily. I just peel it back & lift the pill out. Hope this helps.
