Has anyone heard of the latest thing to help Arthritis Rose Hip (as in syrup) as a natural substance it is supposed to be good and doesn't interfere with other medication you are taking.

Not heard of this. I can see that a hefty whack of vitamin C won't hurt but I'd have thought there'd be more 'tooth-friendly' ways of getting it.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I heard of this quite a while ago, but you need to take a special kind of rose hip capsule from health food store. I bought some but didn't get to find out if they worked, you needed to take 2 large capsules 3 times per day and when you take that much they give you diahorea so I'm afraid I gave it a miss.

Someone phoned me and tried to sell it to me I didn't buy of course. I did look it up on the web and it does say it's good for rhumatoid arthritis it didn't say anything about osteo. It was call Rosex and you get it fro health shops in 800mg capsules. I wont be having any you don't put stuff into your body unless it's a necessity do you ?

    Hello All

Re rosehips - there is a substance available in most high street pharmacies called Lito Zin which is made in powder form, from a particular type of rose hip. In a small clinical trial done a few years ago it was shown to have a beneficial affect on inflammation for both RA and OA.

    Best wishes
