Sulfasalaszine and orange sweat?!

So, this is a bit awkward......
I did know that sulfa can make your wee orange but I read online that it can give your sweat an orange tinge too. I'm on a medication that makes me rather sweaty, (fortunately it doesn't make me smell, I hasten to addd!) which isn't overly pleasant but the positive effects outweigh this side effect. I'm now a bit worried that I will start excreting orangeness! Did anyone else notice this? I'm wondering if it's a common side effect.
Thank you.

Hi Starburst,
I'm on Sulfa and have been since march 2010, the steroids (prednisolone) made me sweat badly (seriously I was like a tap!) but the Sulfa didnt affect the colour. I think the manufacturers have to warn you of all the possible side effects but that doesn't mean that everyone will suffer from them. As we've said before we're all different with our reactions to all these drugs. Hope I've helped? and good luck with the Sulfa

Can't comment on the sweat but sulpha used to turn my contact lenses green (they were blue to start off with so add yellow/orange = green).
I haven't heard of anyone's sweat turning yellow. If that's any comfort?0 -
Hi, I havent heard of or experienced this, (yet!?) Just have the rather luminous wee!!0

Nope, no orange sweat for me either! And my contact lenses haven't been discoloured either.
Oh & I don't get orange wee.....more luminous yellow, kinda like a highlighter pen!

They discolour my contact lenses , wee ,but I haven't noticed the sweat. My sheets are still white.

Thank you for the reassurance. I really appreciate it. I feel more confident about starting it now. My rheum wanted me to wait till I'm a few weeks post-surgery but I think I feel up to it now. Just need to book a blood test first 'cause sometimes it can be a nightmare and I have to wait weeks and weeks.
Thank you again.0 -
I took sulfa for 6 years and never had yellow sweat, only the yellow pee.
Had to stop taking it due to it affecting my kidney functions0
