Afternoon Devonann
Sorry you have this additional pain. I do have discomfort in my neck and it does grate quite alarmingly at times but it doesn't sound quite like yours. Really do hope you don't have to wait too long for your physio.

Hi Devonann i have this problem as well it makes me feel very weary i have found that if i use one of those wheat things ( forgot what they are called ) that you warm in the microwave helps me . I usually have to use it a couple of times but it helps. Obviousely what works for one person doesn't always work for another may be worth a try though good luck xx0

Hello Ann, I had the same problem for several months until I discovered a freeze spray, this really worked for me and I'm fine now. I found heat didn't work for me or anti-inflammatory gel. It was in a dark blue can and really cheap from W*****sons, don't get the deep heat freeze spray it doesn't work, I tried it and so did my son-in-law, but we both found the other one worked. May be worth a try, good luck, hope you feel better soon.

you need to see a physio to get set of exercises to suit you it better if you lay down and do them with head suported. was told by my physio that if go lay down for 10 min when get in from work helps stop some of the pain valval0 -

Hiya,
Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your pain in your neck and head. Just a quick thought though - i don't think you're spposed to use ice on your neck, as it can cause you to faint! Think i read it in one of ACs booklets (home treatments??)
It must be so frustrating not being able to relieve the ache as it's in your skull. I can't help but hope you find something soon, your GP might be able to suggest something...

Ooops!!
I used ice on me neck when l have had trouble  mind l was also drugged up on co-cos etc so l guess l was lying down a lot of the time. I was alternating between heat and ice.
I also changed to a shaped memory foam pillow and took my anti-inflams as prescribed.
Loe and hope you get better soon
