Oh Poppy, this is not good. This sort of stuff is hard to deal with even if one does get a reasonable night's sleep. Without it.....

I like the idea of ringing your rheumatology nurse. Hopefully (s)he can suggest something. Please make that your priority today. Everything else can wait. Then let's know how you get on.

    Oh dear,
Rheumy nurse is ill, I've left a msg and she'll get back to me on her return. Mum is insisting I see the GP, I don't know what more he can do though poor man, he must be sick of the sight of me.
Going to take some oromorph now and try to get some sleep, thanks for being there my friends xxx

I hope you managed some sleep, Poppy, and that your mother managed to make you rest the foot.

    Morning, Poppy.

I am so relieved that the pred worked. That toe of yours was starting to really get to me!

How was the physio today? Hopefully useful and not too painful.

Good luck with the rheumatologist tomorrow. Please give us an update afterwards.

    Take care.

    Hi Sticky,
Glad to report that the swellings have gone down  physio not happy with wrist and finger extension so given me knew resting splint to try.
The steroids seem to be doing their job and Wednesday will be 5th enbrel jab so hopefully in a couple of weeks if things stabilise ling enough I'll cut down and come off the pred again.
Thanks for being such a good friend Sticky, this forums been a lifesaver xxx
