gas fire service

Hi all,just had gas fire and boiler serviced its on council contract the guy asked if everything was alright with things and i told him i had ra and had trouble turning the fire on if we need it so he is arranging to have a gadget fitted that makes it easier to do.I didnt even know there were things like that.Just thought i would post it in case it will help anyone else.Mig

    I don't know whether this is your council or British Gas, mig. I do know British Gas have one or two bits and bobs to make life easier for disabled people. Whatever the service it's always worth checking what's available.
    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    Hi all,just had the gas service guy round to fit gadget so we can turn fire on easily,took about 20 mins,no effort at all to use,apparently bg or registed firms can fit these items.hope this helps some-one out there. :smile: Mig
