The holiday was lovely but coming back was not so good - the shock of my non-letter is now abating but I am still cross. I am also still resting up after the steroid jab yesterday and, truth be told, I am bored. On the plus side however my ankle is feeling a deal better, my other joints are not as I am walking extremely oddly at the moment - even for me! - but that will ease as soon as I can move around better, of that I am sure. I am off to make a cuppa now and do some washing up. What fun!

That's great news, Joan. You've been so patient and uncomplaining in all this. You very much deserve that trip out. I hope you have a lovely time and decide to do it again as often as possible.

How was the shopping trip, Joan? Did you manage to scoot around OK on your scooter? And how's the ankle bearing up with its new plaster?
