As I am sure one or two of us are getting the state retirement pension Just a little warning.My wife's pension was paid into our account on the 16th of May.Then,nothing!! After about 6 weeks we rang newcastle and was told Oh yes we need proof that she is still alive.We have sent you a form It can take up to 28 days to reach you.We got the form after 26 days.We had it signed and sent it back Pension arrived 2nd of July.Ok we managed as we have put a few bob away But it could have been disasterous for some people Watch your bank statements :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

    only just turned 50 so got forever to wait will it be 66 or 70 only time will tell
