Hi,
I've been prescribed this gel for my hands. I know that the absorbtion of drug is much lower than taking it orally but I've read that if you have any stomach probs, i.e. previous ulceration, that you have to be monitored a bit more. I have to take Omeprazole when I'm taking my anti-inflamm, Etodolac as I've had stomach erosions in the past.
Anyone else use this who have/had stomach probs?
Thanks,
Magenta x

Hi
No I dont have stomach problems and like you take omneprazole...I was always under the impression that it was OK to use gels...it was the oral ones that you had to worry about

Hi Hileena,
I too thought the gels were ok but it does state (on the web-site, not on the PIL) that it may cause probs to your stomach. Maybe they're just covering themselves, just in case?
Thanks,
