final diagnose's

Hi ....been a while since ive chatted with you lovely people.....well I have had my final diagnose's after a long 6/9 months of test .....I have fibromyalgia...lupus...RA...PA...and carpell tunnell to which will be operated on within 6 months.....ive been on tramadol...gabepentin....changed to that from pregablin...amtripiline..thyroxin....ive had under active thyroid for 18yrs..ive had numerous kidney/water/bladder infections....so been on and off antibiotics for a while....to had to my list ive now been put on prednisalone...I have to return to rheumatologist in a weeks time for blood results,and MRI scan.....I look twice the age I did last year...and have put over a stone in weight on.....but what makes me laugh is people I know say " Hi you look well how are you " lol.. ive given up explaining to people how I am....I just put a extra slap of make-up on...and keep smiling....although inside I'm feeling very confused and sad about my new diagnoses...no wonder Ive felt like poop for so long and wondered why my meds was not doing wot they should of been doing...sending big hugs to u all.....and I will keep on smiling

Its lovely to have you back with us, but I am sorry you have all this to contend with.
Thats whats good about this forum, you can talk to us and we really do understand, you certainly have the right attitude, and I wish you well with it all.
You will have to take your time coming to terms with it, but you will get there.

welcome back but oh dear I am sorry that you have such a lot to contend with. I hope the meds you are now taking help to finally control all your symptoms. Good luck with the mri scan and keep your chin up, you seem to have a strong positive attitude and I send a few more vibes to top you up.

Don't think I've spoken to you before, so hi!
You've got alot to get your head around but you sound like you're getting there with it all. We're all here to listen and give advice when we can, if you ever need it. Hope the MRI goes ok and hopefully see you posting loads.
